I was hitch hiking through England in 1968. A Royal Navy Pilot picked me up. It soon became evident that he was really going out of his way to show me around. I thanked him for his kind hospitality. He told me that he had hitched across Canada and people had been kind to him. he told me the way to thank them was to help others. It is called paying forward...So in our clinic we thank those who have been kind to us by "Paying forward"
